I just read a pair of articles in today's Wall St.Journal, both regarding efforrs to get more affordable housing in urban areas. I've heard about crazy trends in rentals in places like San Francisco -- for which Berlin stands in quite nicely. My time in my favorite place comes to a close once again. As usual, I'm a bit torn: we're going on a nifty Scandinavian cruise for much of June, and there seem to be Washington commitments shaping up in July and beyond, so it'll be a good while until I'm back.
